I can see the attraction to this wine, but it is not really for my palate. At 14.4% alcohol I find it very hot and a touch overripe. The blueberry and marionberry fruit is really mouth coating and I don't find quite enough acidity to balance.

I enjoyed this wine. A lighter style Syrah, with good balance, nice fruit, and some spice notes. I believe Sparkman adds a small amount of Viogner to this cuvée.
