
This is most likely going to be my summer banger for 2018. Light Ruby/pink hue with an oceans worth of watery rim. Not typical of traditional sangiovese, this was served chilled and is super fruity on the nose, evoking wild strawberries and fresh herbs and a slight balsamic note. The palate makes me dizzy with it's rush of acidity that quickly fades and is reminiscent of effervescence. This is light and fresh, fruity and fantastic.

100% Santa Barbera Sangiovese fermented via Carbonic Maceration. Bright garnet color with a ruby core. Bright aromas of red berry fruit, violets and minerals. Flavors of red cherry, raspberry, currant, cranberry and strawberry fruit with additional notes of rhubarb and that hint of mineral. Medium length finish and crisp acidity. Quite tangy and refreshing. Light bodied and easy to drink. Very Beaujolais-like. Excellent pairing with the meat lovers pizza we had today!

bright, delightful carbonic sangiovese - enjoyed room temperature and chilled with a spicy creole charcuterie board. the cooler temp, strawberry and cherry flavors rounded out the rich creole spices. im most def going to try this with more of my creole dishes.
