This seems to be a very typical northern Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a really dark wine with deep dark fruit punctuated with a slight vegetal tinge that I have come to expect from Alexander Valley. This is a really really good example of cooler climate Cabernet Sauvignon. I am a fan.

Really big, going to be a great bottle in 5-10 years. Super tannic (splinters) and dark, inky fruit.

Super real full but not beastly. Chalky in a satisfying man way. Dark berries including dingles. So yum yum. Destroyed bottle with ny strip and held up to challenge.
