Medium gold...floral and petrol notes on the nose. Rich, ripe, viscous, almost oily as it coats your mouth. Ripe fruit explodes... guava, pineapple, mango, and a good portion of funky forest floor... real weight on the palate and a long acid-tinged finish. Tablas makes lots of wine... but they’re focused and finished and full of wonder. Tablas’ white wine program is simply first-rate—-purchase any and all!

Beautifully aromatic with a clean mineral overtone - ripe white peach, lemon, honeydew melon, honeysuckle, tarragon, white pepper, arugula. Palate has loads more honeysuckle and white melon and some chewy, citrus-squeezed greenness that blessedly avoids that cloying bitter herbal note I fear from Rhône whites.
Fresh from the fall mailing. I want this next time for brunch with eggs Florentine. Wouldn’t be surprised if it ages brilliantly.
44% Viognier, 29% Marsanne, 19% Grenache Blanc, 8% Roussane
