Tablas Creek Vineyard
Côtes de Tablas Paso Robles Grenache Blend

Smooth blend with notes of berry and unripe black cherries. Doesn't stand up to most red meat but true to the blend ratio and great start for the night.

Jam city. Didn’t care that it was a screw top either. Just splendid.

46% Grenache 39% Syrah 10% Mourvedre 5% Counoise. Cooked raspberry yielding to moderate raisin and vanilla/baking spices aromas with a hint of violet. Dark fruit (mainly black cherry) with leather, spice and a hint of umami on the palate. Mineral character and embracing - not quite gripping - tannins are the best qualities here. The outstanding mouthfeel is perhaps a testament to their limestone soil (west Paso Robles, CA).
