I am a GSM fan and love many Paso wines, so I was really looking forward to this one. Cotes de Tablas 2011 is fruity, smooth and easy drinking, but not particularly complex or memorable. I wouldn't walk away from it, but would not specifically seek it out either. That said, it's not bad at $35 for a Paso GSM.

Really enjoyable GSM blend (OK, with 8% Counoise, a grape I love!), moderate ABV, very nicely-balanced, earthy, long finish, nice.

Really nice CdR blend from Tablas Creek, forward Grenache cherry fruit currently, nice minerality, nice balance of acid and ABV, nice juice.
