Candied red cherry fruit, with a touch of sweetness, decent acidity, medium-long finish, solid Paso Robles Grenache!

Nov 14th, 2024Light brick in the glass… shockingly light in color, aroma, mouth-feel and finish… BUT the perfect lively acidity makes for a very pleasant dinner partner. Not a hint of jammyness…varietally correct? Who knows, but memorable comfort food match w/home, seared farm burgers, fried potatoes and onions, and late harvested beets with honey snd citrus zest.

Nov 15th, 2021Candied cherries, orange peel, dust, pepper, some grippy tannins, super long finish. Delicious. Wish I had the patience to see it age.

Dec 25th, 2020A totally different rendition of Grenache than the Alto Moncayo.
Lovely fresh red fruits taking the lead over dark berry fruits. A vibrant palate gains a bit weight on the medium body over time, with vivid acidity. Smooth cinnamon filled lightly sweet tannins.
Should have tasted this before the Alto Moncayo.
