Candied red cherry fruit, with a touch of sweetness, decent acidity, medium-long finish, solid Paso Robles Grenache!

Light brick in the glass… shockingly light in color, aroma, mouth-feel and finish… BUT the perfect lively acidity makes for a very pleasant dinner partner. Not a hint of jammyness…varietally correct? Who knows, but memorable comfort food match w/home, seared farm burgers, fried potatoes and onions, and late harvested beets with honey snd citrus zest.

Candied cherries, orange peel, dust, pepper, some grippy tannins, super long finish. Delicious. Wish I had the patience to see it age.

A totally different rendition of Grenache than the Alto Moncayo.
Lovely fresh red fruits taking the lead over dark berry fruits. A vibrant palate gains a bit weight on the medium body over time, with vivid acidity. Smooth cinnamon filled lightly sweet tannins.
Should have tasted this before the Alto Moncayo.
