Tabor
Adama II Storm
Tabor Winery Adama II Storm 2014, Israel
It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Full bodied and elegant with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing black currants, plums, cooked cherries, strawberries, chocolates, cedar, vegetables, coffee, earth, black tea, light vanilla, tobacco leaf, herbs, peppercorn and spices.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and bitter herbs.
This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon blend from Israel. This 9 year old is still drinking very nicely, and at its peak now.
Showing black fruits right out of the bottle, and after 90 minutes of airtime, red fruits come in.
Loved the nose right out of the bottle.
I had this vintage 3 years ago, and it is drinking better now.
Good by itself or with food.
A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Petite Sirah. Aged for 12 months in French Oak barrels. Kosher and not Mevushal.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
$30.
