Thompson Vineyard Syrah

Still dark purple color, richer and riper than the 2007 Turner, dark fruits, still showing pretty tannic structure, long finish, very good, but I prefer the freshness (better acidity, lower ABV (by 1%)) of the Turner, should improve another 3-5 years, or more.

Blackberry and red plummy aromas and flavors, rich and ripe, but balanced, soft tannins, this still has some time to go, but drinking beautifully tonight, long, lingering finish.
