Jun 18th, 2016My favorite super Tuscan comes through again. Bone dry plums, chalk, green pepper, and Mediterranean herbs. That may not sound like a winning combo of flavors but somehow this wine pulls it off. Not as elegant as the 2010 but just as interesting.

Yum, Yum, Yum. And so fun to share a magnum w/friends. June 11, 2022. Sharing tastes of Italy after my return. Bought this bottle at auction. Drinking perfectly right now. Black fruit, leather. Soft, integrated tannins. Lovely.

Beautiful and truly a "Super" Tuscan. Blend of Cab Sauv, Merlot and Cab Franc. Notes of plums and prunes. Herbal nose. Smooth and easy to drink. Winner!!
