Consider this an update to my previous tasting. Listen, this is very good. Pop and pour baby Brunello. Will probably improve a little over the next 2-3 years, but damn at 17 bucks a bottle, shipped... Really tough to argue with. Value is perhaps in my top 10 over the past few years.

This is what proper rosso should be. Not trying to be baby brunello but a well made rosso that displays the sangiovese character, acidity and cut. Good stuff with excellent qpr

Obviously young, but has its moments.

Medium, fruit-forward, a little soil and tannin to anchor it. Plenty of potential and see why the elder brethren are popular. The Rosso is a superb pizza wine and a bit more. Probably should wait for under $20.
