This bad boy was really stingy at first; dry and smoky, not much finesse; then I came back to it after half an hour - and what a beauty!! Flowers on the nose, fine smoke and wood on the palate, long cherry-currant finish on the tongue. Nicely done!

Woody nose, soft body. Real dang good. Tiny hint of mint/herb would be ridiculous with pork. Had it with casonsei and it was unreal

Nice Barbaresco. Bit more of the modern style perhaps, with a touch of oak poking through. But very nice.

Young - a bit hot, which is not unexpected at this stage and blows off over time. Nice core of fruit. Very savory.
