Aromas of dark berries and Smokey herbs. Dark red berry fruit flavors with notes of baking spices and hints of tobacco and rose petals. Soft tannins. Refined and elegant. Nice! Revisited this wine in October 2020. Still terrific! Revisited again in January 2021. Smokey anise and Rose Petal aromas more prevalent in this bottle. Finish is a bit shorter than I remember but still quite good.

Lifted floral aromatics, pipe tobacco, rustic cherry fruit. Medium body, with balanced acidity and integrated tannins. Smooth and supple. Excellent QPR at $15. Finish lacks bit of length.
