Not drinking or nosing like Willamette Valley Pinot...not so funky...dusty cherry, bramble, cranberry sauce, baking spices, cinnamon, raw criminis. Goes perfectly with mushroom cream sauce and really shining right now {11.17.14}.

From winemaker/owner Jason Lett of Eyrie Vineyards. Has much less extracted fruit than I remember. Not necessarily delicate, but Much more delicate. Kicking myself I didn't buy more of these..

Oh hey there Oregon Pinot. It's good, by the Eyrie folk... Needs stems (as in the grape kind- not the glass kind). That's my vote.

“ A bird, a mushroom, and a berry, all native to Oregon. A limited production from Heritage vines, this cuvée is composed of 20 barrels. Vinified traditionally, the song, the savor and in the sweetness of the blackcap are manifest here, in a Pinot Noir that embodies its origins.” Jason Lett.
