The V.2023 Brick Barn Viognier is actually the very first from this vineyard, located in the west of Buellton, outside Santa Rita Hills AVA in Santa Barbara County, California.

Aromatic enough to open up your olfactory senses with some fresh cantaloupe, honeysuckle, and ripe white peach. The palate opens with a burst of ripen lychee, punchy lime and some caramelized tasted. Thanks to the natural MLF and aged in its lees for 7+ months, the mouthfeel has some roundness, complexity and tension on the very end of the finish, but remains deliciously intense making it a medium+ body with some hints of salinity and a subtle touch of sliced ginger. Simply delicious, cheers!

2023 vintage. Last tasted 06.05.24 (9.2). Still medium body but added weight, honey and minerals. Nose a little mustier now. Still very nice. 03.05.25.

2023 vintage. New vineyard for Ojai. Super clean nose. Medium body. Stays intense through the flavors. Nose is the best part of the experience. Perhaps thing change/morph in the next 6 mos-2 years. 6.5.24.
