Cherryhouse Vineyard Zin by Tilth. Lodi. Bit of a rusty red. Smells like baked cherry cobbler and creosote on a railroad tie. And that’s a great combo for CA old vine Zins. Flavors are sharp and acidic with a jammy core. Cherry brandy and Coca Cola. Bit of coffee and chocolate on the finish. It’s balanced yet big. A hint savory, but fruit driven. This is good Lodi Zin. This is really good hot climate CA classic Zinfandel.

Fun, subdued zin. Like nori was soaked in it to remove the obnoxiousness. Good stuff.

This is Lodi Zin. Vineyard is Cherryhouse. Fruit on the nose. Flavors are bland but serviceable.
