2009 Turley Howell Mountain Zinfandel Cedarman. Very deep red color. Dark berry and strong alcohol on the nose. Very high in sugar and and strong berry taste. The wine smooth out a lot after decanting. It is a great wine but too much fruit for my personal taste.

Thoughtful and drinking perfectly. Peppered turkey jerky, dried blueberry and pine nuts.

Still bold after all these years. Cracked pepper, medium to full bodied, dark fruits, slight strawberry on the nose, and nicely mellowed tannins.
