Jun 7th, 2021There is nothing junior league about the Turley Juvenile Zin. Most of the fruit is from ‘recently’ replanted sections of the famed plots that deliver Turley’s great single vineyard Zins. And ‘recently’ would pass for ‘in their prime’ to most producers at 10-40 years old. In any event, it’s a great wine at a bargain $25 with this youthful vintage showing creamy berries, a hint of tobacco and some really nice acidity. A great way to enjoy great Zin that’s ready to drink and priced to go with weekday dinner.
