MR dinner 2/2/17. High alcohol but relatively well balanced with lingering fruit forwardness on the nose and palate and peppery notes and finishes with jammy notes. Powerful wine it is though perhaps not as much as I was afraid it'd be. Would pair well with pungent cheese.

On the nose roasted red pepper, but a bit sweet and luscious. A little smokey. Full mouth feel, lower acid but a bit of tang. The smokiness comes through more in the mouth. Tang really persists in the finish. Really enjoy these aged Turley zins!
