Seemed a little tight on the nose and probably something to age a few years. Hot baked rocks on the nose and minimal fruit. More perfume notes and more subtle than I would have guessed. Rock, smoke and flowers.

Dense and peppery with a lot of mocha and blackberry. Like it a lot, but I have had Turleys that I like better.

As always this vineyard is one of my favorite Turleys out there, look forward to trying the petite Syrah from this vintage
