1 of 5 Turley zins tonight. This was one of the best in terms of evolution...it’s come together nicely and doesn’t seem out of balance. Really mellow red and black fruits, strong acidity, and a savory/herbal finish.

One of the best Zinfandels I have had. I am generally not a Zinfandel fan, but this bottle was plummy and blueberry-filled, while having no tannic harshness in the finish. It went well with the spice in lamb kebabs.

Chocolate, dust, barely any fruit on the nose. Chalky, iron on the palette. Not too hot though.
