Cannonau di Sardegna

A little brash at opening, with time the wine opens to dried cranberry, grape and iron. The air softens the tannins. Drink with beef carpaccio.

Rose, dried cranberry, cedar. Bright acid, finish falls off but this isn't trying to be something it isn't. Simple, straight forward and tasty

Red fruits, dry finish

Drinking 2013 at Club Hotel in Sardinia. Great nose- lots of deep red fruit - cherry. Very smooth on palette, low tannins on finish. Like a great Oregon Pinot. Buy it if you can find it !

....another cannonau with generous grenache mouthfeel- cherries and wood- great acid balance- cherries almost candied- fine subtle mouth-coating tannins.

Light and florally and easy drinking.

A good wine. Nothing spectacular, but good none the less.

Very dusty. Hints of dried roses, parchment. Spicy finish

Like a candied plum. Light floral, perfumey aroma with rich fruitiness throughout. A little hot but delicious. 2011 vintage.
