Salmon pink, turning tan-tinged orange in the glass. Disgorged- 11/16. Not as effervescent as expected, but lively balanced dry medium-weight presence on the palate. Bright strawberry, tart pie cherry… long lingering finish! Simple elegant and supple companion with amazing ham, classic gratin, corn, sweet potato mash, and homemade Parker House rolls. Merry Christmas!

Disgorged December 2016. Essence of blood orange with lovely weight and persistence and a refreshingly tart finish. This bottling keeps getting better with age.

nice balance. Yum. Very good. 9.2. This was probably my favorite But JM gobillard is good, it doesn’t have that roundness and it’s $43. . $78 for this one.
