Les Clos Chablis Grand Cru Chardonnay

This vintage is drinking so well right now while you wait for 12 and 14. After a multi hour decant Dauvissat’s 2013 Clos radiates with power and intensity showing tremendous volume, textural weight and layers of oyster shell minerality, racy lemony acids and a massively long, vibrant, saline finish. Still many years to go on this one.

Tropical notes of pineapple, passion fruit, lemon oil, flint. Really intense and sexy with good balance and a lot of punchy fruit. Very good stuff

Wax cap. One of the best young Dauvissat wines I’ve ever had.

After the 10 Raveneau Montee this is worlds apart but still fantastic. A much more intense and slightly tropical nose with lots of stone and lime. On the palate this is almost opulent but still focussed and delineated. Real clarity and intensity. Excellent

Super pure and bright. Intense fruit. Young. Super pretty and long. Great

Wonderful wine, ready to drink now. Great musky nose, and power to spare.

Yup. That is pretty much it.
