Vincent Dauvissat
Les Clos Chablis Grand Cru Chardonnay
This vintage is drinking so well right now while you wait for 12 and 14. After a multi hour decant Dauvissat’s 2013 Clos radiates with power and intensity showing tremendous volume, textural weight and layers of oyster shell minerality, racy lemony acids and a massively long, vibrant, saline finish. Still many years to go on this one.

Mar 2nd, 2024Tropical notes of pineapple, passion fruit, lemon oil, flint. Really intense and sexy with good balance and a lot of punchy fruit. Very good stuff

Aug 5th, 2023Wax cap. One of the best young Dauvissat wines I’ve ever had.

Oct 9th, 2022After the 10 Raveneau Montee this is worlds apart but still fantastic. A much more intense and slightly tropical nose with lots of stone and lime. On the palate this is almost opulent but still focussed and delineated. Real clarity and intensity. Excellent
