Such a fun, juicy, balanced wine. Nose has tons of ripe, freshly-squeezed cherry/strawberry juice, also some fragrant, slightly smoky gravelly notes. Soft and bouncy in the mouth, it just floats across the palate, where fruit is king. Great weekday night wine.

Oct 7th, 2021Deep berry nose — all sorts of berries. Sweet spice and a bit of warm gravel. In the mouth it’s full flavored, but has nice balance (good acids!) and is just wicked fun to drink with dinner in the backyard. So much fruit, but not in a jammy way.

Really great dark fruits (blackberry, plum) and earthiness, pretty noticeable tannins but well balanced with acidity and fruitiness in the palate. I like the lack of or very very subtle oak. This is a sophisticated and lingering wine that is delicious.
