So fresh and juicy. A hint of spatburgundery bitterness. Amazing wine. So delicious but also unique and complex. Bought from Fass Selections ... as this opens the brightness integrates and the internal aromatics become more prominent. Some licorice on the finish. At the very high end of delicious. I hope I have some of this to try in a few Years. It could be profound.

Sep 6th, 2024Good Pinot but I am sticking with my original assessment of the 2015. It’s not that the wine is bad it just doesn’t have secondary flavor which make it interesting. Still quite tart and tannic. Crushed marble, hint of cedar, cranberry, faintest touch of Cherry. The fruit was limited from the get go (see earlier tasting) and new flavors have just not bubbled up.
