The Y Series Viognier

Pale lemon with aromas of tropical and citrus fruits with notes of honeysuckle. On the palate flavors of floral white fruits, citrus and slight spicy character. Lively acidity, medium finish ending with fruit character with honey tones.

Star bright green gold. Inviting nose of yellow lilies and banana peel. Echoed on the full-bodied palate adding mango, white peach, and almond. Moderate acidity that’s appropriate for the variety. Moderate finish. This Aussie take on the Northern Rhône’s primary white grape is a winner, with enough “stuff” to accompany most white wine fare, but light enough (on the palate and the pocketbook) for a pleasant everyday sipper. Drink now.

Melon, honey and citrus. Went well with broiled swordfish

A more acidic Viognier than I was expecting. Light and peach in color. Hints of mango on the palette with white grape and floral notes. Still the acidity was a surprise. Medium to low sweetness.

Lacks character. Off balance. Better with food

Decent Viognier with white flowers in the nose and honeysuckle on the palate. Serve a bit warmer than other whites

A very pleasant Voignier! Flavors of pear, crisp apple and melon. I have already purchase 2 more bottles.

Very pleasant. Mellon and honey. Went very well with king salmon.
