Opened up nicely - dark red cherry with some smoke on the finish. A bit one-dimensional but easy to drink nonetheless. Classic Pessac. — 6 years ago

1st place at the 2019 Judgment of Pinot; approachable, almost DRC-like notes. Silky vanilla aromas give way to a complex combination of strawberry and (somewhat) mushroom-y flavors. Love x 1000 — 6 years ago
So apparently this Barolo has been featured in a wine comic/manga (those exist?) as one of the 12 Apostles of global wine. Even though I’m no comic buff, do I buy the assertion? 100%. I wish I’d met this bottle earlier, but nonetheless found it spicy and easy to drink, yet so memorable. — 6 years ago

2019 Judgment of Pinot; ranked 2nd behind Bass Phillip (what a surprise). Silky, beautiful DRC that I thought was at least a decade older than it really is. Subtle rhubarb and vanilla on the finish. Love. — 6 years ago
Dark red fruit, a bit of cedar (smoky?) and a unique finish. — 6 years ago
