What a crazy wine. Nose of lychee, passion fruit, rose petal, and orange rind. Palette of juicy blood orange and fresh mulberries. Super dark in color but drinks super light. Second time trying it and I like it even better. If you want something just way different but drinkable, this is it. Drink it alone, drink it with dessert, drink it with some Eastern European stews, or just drink it to be blown away. — 7 years ago
Earth, mushrooms, menthol, and just straight up funk. Much less body than your typical Aglianco, but still a solid medium with good length. — 8 years ago
Bright and ripe fruit, earthiness, and finesse. Extremely well-balanced, and held up great to spice. Medium- body with great structure, complexity, and length. — 8 years ago
Quite tannic and heavier than I’d have expected for a young presumably easy-drinking Cab from the Loire. Super one-dimensional with very non-expressive fruit. But hey, for $20, it drinks like a $20 bottle of wine. Totally unoffensive and with nice acidity, but I have no desire to ever drink it again. — 7 years ago
Really nice acidity, some good funk, earth, licorice, white pepper, and spice. Firm tannins and good length. — 8 years ago
This is just an unbelievable Orange wine with so much depth and complexity. It has this almost confusing fruit-forward start that quickly gets overtaken by minerality, earthiness, funk, and bright acidity. Beautiful color, awesome bottle, and just really fun to drink. Great with Thai food. — 8 years ago
