So, this is Agathe’s top cuvée of Sylvaner (which I’ve heard is one of her favorite grapes) grown in the Grand Cru “Zinnkoepfle” — the problem in Alsace is that Sylvaner is not considered a “noble” grape, and thus this wine is “Eminence” rather than identifying the vineyard site. With that said, spicy aromatics, floral and ripe white stonefruit aromas and flavors, great acid balance adds depth and complexity, super fine Alsatian Sylvaner!! — 2 months ago

Faint petrol/diesel aromas, floral and white stonefruit aromas and flavors dominate, very youthful and primary, very good acid, this also needs further aging, very nice Alsatian Riesling!! — a day ago
