Lucious Piemonte red wine made from the Albarossa grape, a cross of the Barbera and Nebbiolo grapes. The result is deep ruby color with a fragrant bouquet and a lingering taste of red cherries. Pairs wonderfully with a variety of foods, but especially Italian. Great bargain. Looking for more of this grape — 3 years ago
$12 - light and very drinkable — 4 years ago
This medium-dark wine has a very fresh nose, dark and full of blackberry fruit aromas. The palate puts me in mind of some of the darker Cru Beaujolais wines. It also makes me think of unoaked Cabernet Sauvignon from Argentina. This Albarossa grape wine was aged a year in steel and a year in the bottle, so it is fresh and youthful - quite a fun wine. — 3 years ago
Very nice as noted previously, it’s got that Nebbiolo weight that floats. — 3 months ago

Dark red cherry in color, medium bodied, smells like tobacco and dark ripe red fruit. Tastes like tart ripe cherries, dried apricot, tobacco, nicely rounded acidity. Really great. — 3 years ago
A blend of Nebbiolo, barbera, dolcetto, fresia, albarossa and Pinot noir. Red fruit driven, with earthy and floral undertones. Flavours of cherries, baking spices and Liquorice. Structured finish. Chill for 30 min prior to enjoying. Fantastic find! — 5 years ago

2021 vintage. A good value blend from 8 grape varieties ( Barbera, Freisa, Bonarda, Dolcetto, Albarossa, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah), made by the huge Piemontese Dezzani estate (1000 hectares). Uncomplicated, soft, fruity wine, with a little sweetness. Abv. 13,5%. — 3 days ago
