Loved this Merlot! It’s just mellow enough, but has the complexity you want in wine to keep it interesting. Mid-level tanins with a chocolatey finish. Great stand alone wine. — 4 years ago
On the nose ripe plum, cassis, eucalyptus, light roasted coffee beans, vanilla and hint of cured meat. More stewed fruits on the palate, but with a firm acidic spin. Fresh herbs also provide a lift. Ripe velvety tannins. A bit heat on the long finish. Very delicious.
The Bravura is the winery’s top bottling, and usually is a Bordeaux blend. But for 15’, it’s 100% Cab. 22 months in French barrel, 40% new. — 3 years ago

Delicious! What a steal. Could drink this all night. Some Cab characteristics, but a bit lighter on the backside. That doesn’t mean anything except to me. Lovely wine for the price, well balanced- cardamon, dirty, apples, strawberry, very ripe plum. Can I find more? — 4 years ago

2012. Held up great. Dark berry, cedar box, spice, menthol, iron, black olive and nice acid. Really nice. — 10 months ago
