Old Nebbiolo nose with sour cherry on palate for first two hours, then rose and red fruit for next hour, then as it was just hitting its stride it was gone - we finished it. Ethereal Ghemme that comes pretty close to rivaling Rovellotti and Antichi Vigneti di Cantalupo, who for me are the benchmarks. Vivid and fleshy red fruit, with black truffle poking its head out behind. Ever changing in the glass. I would happily forgo drinking this and simply smell it all night. — 9 years ago
