Munich apt. Smooth yummy deep chocolate plum slight spice. Ruhi feels leathery and okay. Essential to drink at right temp else acidic. Can repeat — 2 years ago

Cardamom, blind, dark red cherries, sour candies and spice on the nose, which took a while to open up, but emerged to be surprisingly complex and different from what I expected. The palate is rich with surprisingly refined tannins, with red cherries, a long, lingering tart acidity, and slight notes of hibiscus on the finish. Not crunchy like the American pinot munier’s, more refined, but still light and delicious. Drank at APT 115 wine bar in East Austin! — 4 years ago
This was a nice surprise, a basic CNdP bought recently at auction that probably only cost a few euros on release. Featuring an effusive nose of macerated cherry, iron, dates and blood orange, the palate is less spectacular but pleasant nonetheless, quite charming on entry but quickly fading. I cooked roast shoulder of lamb tonight with a lavender jus, and this was an apt pairing.
Edit: on night two, this had opened up and was a tremendous wine — 2 years ago
Didn’t take notes at the time, but this was an interesting blend of Syrah (49%) with Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mourvèdre that was dark and brambly with notes of coffee and Turkish delight. Tim Atkin’s likening of this to a Crozes Hermitage / Dao hybrid is an apt take. — 3 years ago
I completely agree with Stephen Tanzer’s apt comment about olive tapenade. This wine is simply scrumptious. — 5 years ago

Distributor describes this as taut and racy with mineral nerve, which are all apt adjectives. Lemongrass, pomelo, tangerine, and grapefruit pith. Very energetic and bright. Crying out for ceviche. Not cheap. — 3 months ago
