Cotes de Catalan red with Guinea Fowl at Spring. Excellent fruit, not the graininess I can find in Grenache/Carignan reds at times. — 3 years ago
Field blend of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Beurot, Muscat and Pinot Noir from the Engelgarten, a vineyard with poor, gravelly soils located just outside the walls of Bergheim (about 10 miles north of Colmar, in the Haut Rhin). Pure, expressive nose with notes of citrus, rubber and minerals. Intense, dry, textured. Slightly ripe. Long, saline finish. — 4 years ago
Clear, deep ruby with a garnet rim; on the nose, it's clean with medium intensity primary and secondary aromas of black cherries, graphite, and lavender; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium tannins, high alcohol, medium body, and medium intensity flavors of red plums, black cardamom, and strawberries with a long finish. This wine is complex and balanced. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 4 months ago
Excellent magnum, fun to share! Good amount of barnyard and acrid, cat piss nose balanced out with a soft bubble and medium acidity. A little tight. A close, sparkling cousin to their Luca (Traminette). — 5 years ago

2023. 15% super full gas. Brambles a good descriptor. Tight acidity with a solid body of sweet dark fruit from the Mourvèdre. Bit cloying and not elegant but super pure fruit. And great. — a month ago
