Very dark, strong body, well balanced — 3 years ago
Great white! Crisp apple and slate. Nose is wet stone and grape skin. Some nice floral and creamy notes to round out the flavor. Alcohol is almost unnoticeable. A few of these could surely get you into trouble. — 5 years ago
I struggle with the rating of this wine. I admittedly am fairly new to diving deeper into Alsace Riesling, and so my enthusiasm for this wine May be colored but the fact that I just don’t have the experience to put it into perspective. (First experience drinking quality champagne springs to mind; “it’s all so good!”) This Riesling is very delicious, and it has all of the qualities that I think I need in a good Riesling: high, but functional acid; a broad range of fruit in varying degrees of ripeness; minerality (smoky flint); savory & herbal components; and richness with a body that’s not too puny. I will say that there is a nagging hint in the back of my mind that says that all of this is plastic and lacks a three-dimensionality that I will find in better examples. Damn, it’s tasty, though! — 5 years ago

Light body, acidity, smooth tannins. Tart cherry, smoked meat, and rose petal. The tart red fruit comes to dominate as it stays open in the glass. — 6 years ago

Didn’t think it’d be as drinkable as this, firm texture but without the primer fruit a bit thin. Perfect for seafood for Fung though. — 2 months ago
