Ali Toscana Sangiovese Rosato 2023

Delectable Wine
9.1

Tangerine peel, grapefruit, kiwi fruit and grass clippings rush forth as the 2023 Rosato Ali unfurls in the glass. Expressive, cheerful and open for business, the Ali is light on its feet but neatly framed. Just the right amount of spice-inflected bitterness wraps up the finish. $20.00 (Billy Norris, Vinous, June 2024) — 4 months ago

Great ca zin. Blackberries galore, red apples, some earth and forest. Great acidity but still a rich zin. This is such an underrated winery. — 6 months ago

Millepassi Bolgheri Superiore 2007

v07. Treasure! Deep rusted purple color. Fragrant toasted tobacco leaves sprinkled with dried oregano nose. Rich, creamy, blackberry, blueberry, plum and tar fruit. Velvety, slightly chewy, chocolate and soft leather finish. Selfishly enjoyable! — 2 months ago

Martinelli

"Bella Vigna" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2019

Martinelli family has been farming in Sonoma County since 1860. Deep Ruby color with aromas of red berry fruit and sweet spices. On the palate ripe cherry and blueberry flavors, with some dried fruit notes, oak, cinnamon spice and cola tones. Fine mouth coating tannins with balanced acidity carry this rich wine to a long finish. Good now will age a bit! — 5 months ago

— 6 months ago
