Getting past its prime. Still love the funk. — 4 years ago
Ganache? No, Tinta from limestone soil. Raspberry jam. Acidic + first. Tannic second. Fresh. 2nd day felt peak. Rounded and smooth. Fruity. Concentration. Miros de Ribera Vendimia Selleccionada from Ribera del Duero 20 @1600, Karla, 241102 — 4 months ago
2018 vintage. 100% Tempranillo. Big and slightly rustic. 100% French Oak. It was a closeout and offered to me at the resto price of under $10. Can't take advantage of it for the list as it's too inexpensive but as a daily drinker/porch pounder, hell yes. Tempted to buy 10 cases of it for the staff to enjoy till October. 5.15.24. — 10 months ago

Strong oak barrel flavor with a nice sweet finish — 5 months ago
A spectacular wine, bursting from the glass and fully clearing out my slightly blocked nasal passages this weekend with gorgeous aromas of black fruit - deep but oh-so-fresh - along with kirsch liqueur, cranberry, a hint of mint and cedar. Truth be told, it has a character reminiscent of the Médoc, and I later read it has a small amount of Cabernet in the blend.
The palate is a show-stopper, sporting an array of very ripe but fresh blackcurrant, freshly squeezed cherries, and blueberry. It’s robust, but very harmonious with an abundance of acidity and tannin. It has an almost Port-like density, but it works. Sublime stuff. Why, oh why, did I only buy two bottles of this? It was £6 in bond, released by the winery last year under peculiar circumstances that I can’t remember. I should’ve bought a truck-load.

"Odedi"
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Nose of black fruits, cedar, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, herbs and peppercorn.
Full bodied and elegant with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, blackberries, black plums, cooked cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, earth, light vegetables, peppercorn and pencil lead.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy cranberries.
This is a delicious Tempranillo from Ribera Del Duero in Spain. Rich and spicy. Soft and elegant.
This 7 year old feels young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. However, it is already drinking beautifully.
Complex, tangy and interesting. Feels like a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.
Needs 2 hours of airtime to open up properly.
A great sipping wine that will also pair nicely with food.
100% Tempranillo grapes were aged in French oak barrels for 24 months.
15% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
