Beach me up vibes all day baby. Smells like white peaches and clear skies and seashells. Zings on the tongue and you need that warming zing if like me you are gonna dip into the Pacific (soon I hope anyway I love the sea). The palate is chilled melon, gushing wet stone, and some sort of flower whose name I’ll never remember.
It’s terrible, I can name 7 synonyms for Tempranillo, but when it come to the rest of all botanica I can’t get it together.
Anyway. This finishes a with a hit of grapefruit flavor so from stone fruits to melon to citrus it runs the fruit gamut.
Gushing wet stone is the through-line. I don’t know if it has a dramatic arc but I don’t think it needs it. — 3 years ago
Medium light ruby , quite wide garnet ruby rim . Touch of pot pouri , with some spiced cherry , wild strawberry and raspberry . Sweet red cherry notes on the palate , some light herbal notes and a saline streak . Touch of black pepper and perhaps a hint of warmth . Ok length and balance . Not as fresh as some of the others. Drink now and over the next few years . Vinous Icons NY , Pier 60, Feb 2025 — 15 days ago
Meadowcroft Wines Botanica Consecrata Nelson Ranch Pinot Gris Rosé 2023, California
Very pretty neon orange in color.
Interesting nose of flowers, raspberries, strawberries, red candy, spices, apples and pears.
Light to medium in body with medium acidity. Crisp and refreshing.
Dry on the palate with limes, light cranberries, lemons, apples, apricots and spices.
Tangy finish with limes.
This Single Vineyard Orange Wine is very young, but already enjoyable. Tangy and interesting. Crisp and refreshing.
Needs a couple of years in the bottle to mature properly. Will definitely get better in the next few years.
Nicely balanced. Not bitter nor tart, and the alcohol is not too noticeable, so watch out.
I paired it with a stinky French Gorgonzola cheese.
Made with Pinot Gris grapes from Mendocino County. A tiny production of only 540 bottles.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
89 points.

Another solid vintage of this South African Cabernet Franc. Dark ruby color. Aromas and flavors of black cherry, blackberry and black currant. Hints of black licorice and earth. Quite ripe but with excellent balance. Dark and brooding. — 3 years ago
Great flavors of red fruit. Nice on the palate — 5 years ago

Light golden color. Aromas of peaches, pears and sea spray. Flavors of tropical fruit, golden delicious apple, peach, citrus zest and minerals. Really nice salty note on the long and very energetic finish. Well balanced, crisp and fresh tasting. Medium-minus body and very refreshing. Thanks for saving me a glass, Chris B! — 16 days ago
