This is No 9 bought around 10years ago and the bottle says best before June 2021..
I tasted a bit just after buying it and it tasted too sour for me. So I decided to recap and wait till it be matured well. .. and I forgot this one years.. today I reopen it. Not feeling the too strong taste I sensed last time. Wow. I have had this on the shelf for four years. Have been leery to pop the cork for fear it had turned skunky. Has best by date of 09-2016 on label. I am pleased to report it has survived cellaring. Chocolate Ale w/ Raspberry. 9.1% ABV. Raspberry colored. Very good! Celebrating KC Chief’s win over Miami Dolphins. At Boulevard in SF, this was very tasty with red fruit, spice box aromas and good length/texture. Didn’t expect such depth of flavor from this producer. Very enjoyable; and open for business.
