Le Logis de Bray Chenin

Being a CB I don’t have much to compare it with but I still enjoy it. So different to the other varieties. This one has a slightly too sweet start and a flash of tanginess at the very end but overall, mellow and delicious. — 2 years ago

Château Pavie Macquin

Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 1994

Bright fruit (blueberry, lingonberry) with mild vegetal notes and tannins. Had @Natasha Bray stumped on this one! Hard to tell what vintage it was. Good structure. — 3 years ago

Grand Siècle Grande Cuvée Champagne Blend

#24 is very floral, plus brioche, apple, and a bit of chalky limestone. Great NV cuvée! To celebrate @Natasha Bray and everything she does! — 3 years ago

Marc Sorrel

Les Rocoules Hermitage White Rhone Blend 2010

2010 vintage. At Hinds Head pub in Bray. Rare and rewarding wine. Pale golden hue. Heady, honeyed and floral, with definite white stone fruit aromas, and a strip of chalky minerality. Fairly complex. On the palate, high alcohol - maybe slightly too much - silky textured full bodied and medium acidity. Full concentration of flavour. Medium plus finish. Really enjoyable albeit not something I would want to drink on a daily basis. Drink now until 2026+. Tip: serve on the cooler side to counter balance the richness and full body of the wine. — 8 years ago
