A little grassy with melon, very nice and it combines weight and tartness well. — 6 years ago
Cherry and pomegranate with a little fresh summer vegetation and spice, nice tartness on the palate cries out for food, but it is still awfully good by itself. It expands with air, as tannin comes out and it just dials in to the brain's pleasure centers. Another winner from Briceland and I can't wait to see what more age brings to it. — 7 years ago
This is right in my wheelhouse. I mostly prefer Oregon Pinot and this really was impressive. Best Pinot for my taste that I’ve had from California. The nose was beautiful with red fruit and spice and a hint of smoke that comes through on the palate with a medium long spicy finish. Very good and drinking well now but will likely be good for many years to come. — 6 years ago

Not Joe and Maggie's Rose' but Reserve 1999. Beautifully aged sparkler with rich creamy/yeasty texture. Nice mousse and bubbles. Well done. — 5 years ago
This is a Zinfandel for Burgundy lovers, varietally true with beautiful nuanced brambly fruit, well-concentrated without ponderous extraction and kept bright with good acidity. It keeps growing in complexity with air, picking up hints of tangerine skin and white pepper after a few hours. — 8 years ago
