This off-dry white wine pours up a bit fizzy, but the bubbles dissipate quickly. The nose is highly aromatic, like white flowers and a hint of earth and tangerine. On the palate, the slightly sweet flavor is the highlight. Unfortunately there isn't much acidity, so just enjoy as an afternoon sipper or in a cocktail. — 8 years ago
At $23 this biodynamic wine is a wow! “The residual sugar integrates seamlessly with the high acid allowing for the wine to finish smooth without any puckering and that fleeting touch of sweetness opens up a world of food pairing possibilities.” - Ian Cauble, SommSelect. — 8 years ago
Highly underrated Alsace Riesling. — a year ago
Q is for Quinquina. Smells like a fortified wine with slight currant aromas, a good amount of acid gets the tongue tingling, the raisin and currant aromas come through the flavors but the body is light compared to a sherry or tawny port. A very nice aperitif... and we'll see how it does in a cocktail! #atoz2021 — 5 years ago
Smells of minerals but I sense what could be some rs. $11 I — 8 years ago
A breathtakingly delicious application of The Darkest Grape in varietal form, this thick, inky cocktail wine will wow the most jaded oenophiles! It is as if black cherries, dark currants, and dark chocolate-covered espresso beans were throwing a party in one’s mouth! More please! — 8 years ago
This New York Riesling is full of tart Granny Smith apples and lemon-lime citrus tones. Excellent with spicy food or as a cocktail wine. — 9 years ago
Very enjoyable for a summer’s day. Nice fruity flavor and very sweet. Good for dessert or just enjoying a sunny afternoon on the porch. — 6 years ago
Enjoyed with Moroccan chicken. Only $23 “ ...the residual sugar here adds texture and weight but is cleaned up quickly by a racy wave of acidity.” - Ian Cauble — 8 years ago
Lychee, candied peach, white flowers, lemon zest, and ginger. Heavy mouthfeel could come across as almost syrupy if not served at proper temperature (cold.) Very traditional, good wine. — 9 years ago
