19.09.23 Trip to Nicosia, fixing me and fixing my car. Toast to my car, so that it survives the end of the world.
The wine makes people talk, I didn't see how the bottle got empty... Perfectly well-balanced and aromatic wine from Graves.
12,5%, 50% Sauvignon and 50% Sémillon. — a year ago
Lot of bang for the buck here. Nose is super fresh. Great notes of straw, greengage plum, zesty apple, and — of course — flinty volcanic minerality. In the mouth it’s nicely balanced, soft on entry with acids sneaking up in the latter half of the palate. Dry and quite minerally. — 3 years ago
From the slopes of Monte Gorna, south-east side of Mount Etna, made with the local grape Carricante, medium lemon color with aromas of stone fruit, citrus and honey floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple and pear with slight citrus and vanilla notes. Good acidity, balance and structure, medium+ finish ending with salty mineral character. Very Nice! — 12 days ago

Salty at the beginning, gradually strong in mineral and finally smooth til the end- what a rich etna rosse! — 5 years ago
Bright gold. Somewhat shy nose of yellow apple, honey, and stone. Medium palate echoes the nose adding dried flowers and baked pineapple and enhancing the stony mineral note. Medium plus acidity cuts through as the palate gains complexity with air time. Lengthy (12+ seconds) finish continues the palate. 12 months of barrel age adds depth to the volcanic mineral streak in this classic Etna white. Drink with heartier Mediterranean white wine fare -- richer seafood or roasted pork dishes -- now through 2027. — a year ago
