This is such an utterly brilliant wine. Just beyond. Nose is the most vivid olives and gorgeous blackberry fruit and granite infused love. 9.8 nose. Utterly captivating. Palate is rich and ripe but teeming with granitic energy. Unreal inner mouth olive aromas, and just insanely juicy and painfully concentrated. Unreal length and I only showing 10% of itself and we are at 9.8. I will be back. Wow. Unreal finesse now and length. There is a dark evil to this wine that adds to the overall vibe. Outrageous florals now an hour in. Really meaty element now as well. So supple and silky but firm structure, minerals and granite on the finish. Tannins getting more imposing but ripe and sweet. — 11 days ago

Just a ridiculously good value. I really dig this co-op. Saturated in color, with air the nose reveals rich, oozing dark berries, smoky campfire ashes, savory cured beef, crushed stone. In the mouth, it’s intensely flavored but well balanced. savory, clingy, minerally (in the bloody sense), but with a nicely voluptuous mouthfeel, tannins abundant but very soft. A whiff of high quality Syrah which goes without saying. More savoury than fruit driven and at 8 years, leathery. A trace of oak. Not near as fruity as high quality Australian Shiraz. Cornas - Earlier maturing than Hermitage on the opposite bank and to the north. — 9 months ago

Vibrant gold/yellow color. Awesome nose filled with melons, minerality, cream, and a hint of cigarettes. Complex, unique wine. A little funk mid-palate that has some bite. Medium plus depth and medium finish. Resembles the ‘15 vintage I had. If you can find a better or more unique white for under $20 I’d like to try it. This rocks!! — 3 months ago
