A whiff of high quality Syrah which goes without saying. More savoury than fruit driven and at 8 years, leathery. A trace of oak. Not near as fruity as high quality Australian Shiraz. Cornas - Earlier maturing than Hermitage on the opposite bank and to the north. — 2 months ago

Found and opened 1/20/24 thought were long gone. Guess has a vertical. Dark red color and forested perfume nose. Drinking great. — 5 months ago
Earthy, terroir nose. Opened nicely. Palette- enjoyable , long finish, medium tannins . After one hour, improved, earthiness is a nice change from Napa cabs. — 2 years ago
