Had this 2 yrs ago. Mather Teresina, flagship wine of Celler Vinos Piñol, made with grapes grown in high elevation region of Terra Alta. The nearly extinct Morenillo grape is indigenous to the area & makes Mather Teresina a unique wine, a blend of 50% Garnacha, 30% Cariñena & 20% Morenillo. Nice aromas of berries & sweet spice. On the palate cherry flavors with vanilla spice adding pepper notes on fine smooth tannins which opened much quicker. Long ending with sweet fruit tones & bits of earthy floral. — 5 years ago
Saludos #winelover #winelovers #wine #vino #vinos #pisco #elpisco #Peru #Lima

WOM 5-31. Very nicely balanced. Probably should rate higher! — 4 years ago
Weird. Hits all the expected notes of high acid with floral sweetness and syrupy mouthfeel, but ends with a little bit of bitter tang. Used some in a cocktail and that worked great. — 6 years ago

Stunning Garnacha Blanca from 100 year-old-vines. Aged 7 months in new and 2nd use 300L French oak on the gross lees. Textural with perfectly integrated wood influence. Burgundian characteristics without the Burgundian price tag. Tasted at the winery. — 5 days ago
