2016 vintage. You can't go wrong with the Domaines Martin wines these days, and they have made some of their best wines in this excellent vintage ( Gloria 2016 might well be the best ever!). This Cabernet Sauvignon dominated Haut-Médoc features a deep dark red colour, and a nose with cassis, cedar and dark chocolate. In the mouth it shows impeccable balance with the juicy black fruit balanced by fresh acidity and well-tamed tannin. Terrific value too. — 2 years ago
A nice classic Bordeaux - drinking well. - as expected for a Petit Chateau. Finish a bit short. Will re-test after more air. — 8 years ago
Delicious, excellent value — 5 years ago
Earthy but smooth tannins. Old world value. James Suckling 91 Pts maybe later with more air. But then I am not really calibrated today after just finishing 31 dry days. It’s good to be back. — 6 years ago
Delightful and a great value for the second label from this producer — 8 years ago

Savory and very satisfying. Chewy tannins and long smoked meat, meaty mushroom, and ripe red fruit with just enough sweet to offset any tannin tongue but nothing cloying. Nose was weak but flavors intense and lovely. — 3 days ago
