From Haskell’s box. Our first red Bordeaux, from Cadillac AOC Bordeaux region, which is right bank. Website says 60% Merlot 20% cab 20% Franc. Seemed a bit thin vs New World Cabs, but had softened tannins, dark fruit, early tawny color. will compare to other Merlots and to left bank claret later. D liked. W said ok. — 8 months ago
A blend of mostly Nero d'Avola adding some Petit Verdot, Syrah and a few other grapes. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits, sweet notes and spicy scents. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry, currant like, with notes of cacao, licorice and sweet spice, well balanced with acidity. Fine tannins, long finish, ending with fruit, tobacco and sweet earthy character. Very nice! — 3 years ago

A really nice bottle. Full body white - granche Blanc gives it a nice robust mouth feel and flavour. — 2 years ago
Love this Bordeaux blend. The smell is awesome - lightly sweet - and I love the dryness of the wine on the palate. Still a little bit of fruit though, which I like. Great for our Bastille Day cheese board (except for the salmon eggs - it highlighted their strong salt flavor) and would buy again for a French-themed meal. — 5 years ago

Nicholas picked this up in Sicily while he was there at the NEX. Probably paid about $50 for the bottle there. Would run about $90 in the United States. Excellent red wine from Sicily! — 5 months ago

Vintage 2020 | 12 m barrel aging, nero d’avola, syrah and petit verdot. Cedar, brushwood, sour plum, much character but to my taste a bit rough. I prefer Tancredi. — 7 days ago
