Yes. Still very tightly end, there’s a feeling of complexity and subtlety from the tightly wound Orchard fruit. The focus is under underlying tension, with a touch of woodsy hazelnut and a long acid driven finish. Reminds me of PYCM in a good way — 10 days ago
Rich, lush, corn, lemon. Punchy fruit with lots of acidity’s and length. Not subtle but fruity and fun — a month ago
Lived up to all expectations. Beautiful balance, nose and structure. Crisp stone fruits, slight mineral, hint of pineapple at end. Love it — 3 months ago

The 2005 Bienvenue-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru came from an original bottle, i.e., not reconditioned at the Domaine due to premox problems. It has a rich and concentrated bouquet, with hints of wild honey intermixed with white flowers and broom. It shows a wonderful definition, a hint of candy floss emerging with aeration. The palate is very well-balanced with great poise, a silver thread of acidity and a dash of white pepper and crustacea towards the sustained finish. Outstanding. Tasted at Clarette in London.
