2010 vintage. Another golden oldie from Blaye. Solid deep red colour with orange rim. Cedar and strawberry. Good concentration and structure, drinking perfectly now but will hold in a good cellar. Good length with some spiciness. Very good indeed and terrific value. — 4 years ago
Upright, tannic, forward acidity, with a sun-dried prune right behind. Clarity inside the prune, a good palate cleanser. Would stand up well to any red meat or black pepper. — 8 years ago
The kind of wine I would be happy to have a glass everyday. Very smooth and welcoming after notes — 5 years ago

NOSE: violet, heather, stone, wild berries (dense and dark). Slight tobacco. A little oak.
TASTE: nice mouthfeel, good acidity and structure (but not overpowering), rich fruit - ripe cassis. A little anonymous but a great deal for the price! I will try this again. 90. — 8 months ago
